Sigalit Landau

Sigalit Landau was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1969, and lives and works in Tel Aviv. She trained as a dancer and studied art at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Solo exhibitions include Ballroom Marfa, Texas (2005), Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid, Spain (2005) and Tel Aviv Museum of Contemporary Art (2004). She has also exhibited at P.S. 1, New York (2006), Venice Biennale, Venice, Italy and Documenta X, Kassel, Germany. (1997) Her works were exhibited at Magasin 3 in the exhibition Spiritus in 2003 and again in Walking and Falling in 2006.

Kimsooja

Kimsooja was born in 1957 in Taegu, South Korea. She lives and works in New York, Paris and Seoul. She represented Korea at the 55th Venice Biennale, with a site specific installation at the Korean Pavillion: To Breathe: Bottari (2013). A large retrospective of her work opened recently at Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada (until January 23, 2014). Earlier solo exhibitions include Miami Art Museum, Miami, (2012), Baltic Center for Contemporary Art, UK (2010) and at Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C. (2008). In 2006 she had a solo exhibition at Magasin 3, and her works were later included in the group exhibitions Investigations of a Dog (2011) and Thrice Upon a Time (2010) at Magasin 3.
