Leonard Forslund

Leonard Forslund was born in Landskrona, Sweden. He lives and works in Copenhagen. Forslund has studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.

Selected solo exhibitions include Kunsthallen Brandts, Odense, Denmark (2012); Danske Grafikers Hus, Copenhagen (2011); Landskrona Konsthall, Landskrona, Sweden (2004); and Lunds Konsthall, Lund, Sweden (2003). Group exhibitions include Nationalmuseum, Stockholm (2019); Linköpings Konsthall, Linköping, Sweden (1999); Norrköpings konstmuseum, Norrköping, Sweden, (1996); ; Göteborg Konstmuseum, Gothenburg, Sweden (1992); Moderna Museet, Stockholm (1990); and Malmö Konsthall, Malmö, Sweden (1987).

Forslund ’s work can be found in the collections of Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen; Statens Konstråd, Stockholm; and Malmö Konstmuseum, Malmö, Sweden. He is a member of the Artist Association Grønningen, and was rewarded the Eckerbergs Medal in 2009.
