Tobias Bradford

Örebro , Sweden
1993

Born in 1993, Tobias Bradford is a Swedish-American artist based in London. He earned a BFA from Goldsmiths University of London in 2019 and later attended the Master’s program at the Royal Art Institute in Stockholm.
In his work, Bradford evokes the delicate nature of the human psyche and explores the interplay between humour, morbidity, longing, and melancholy. His uncanny, emotionally charged sculptures provoke both laughter and unease, playing with notions of the obscure and unexpected.
Bradford’s most recent solo exhibitions include Imposter Machine, Uppsala Art Museum, Uppsala (2026); Collecting Shells, Saskia Neuman Gallery, Stockholm (2026); Health and Safety, Sinne Galeri, Helsinki (2025); Hundis, Trollhättan Konsthall, Trollhättan (2025); and As My Eyes Adjust, Company Gallery, New York (2024). In 2021, he was awarded with the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation Grant.
