Nicky Hoberman
Nicky Hoberman was born in 1967, she lives and works in London. She has an Master of Arts in Modern History from Oxford University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons and an Master of Arts from Chelsea School of Art, London.
She was selected for the 1996 New Contemporaries at Tate Liverpool and included in Saatchi’s New Neurotic Realists. She has had numerous solo gallery exhibitions from New York to Amsterdam, Boston, Antwerp, Milan, Zurich and in London. Group shows includes the Berardo Museum, Lissabon (2015); Gould Galleries, Melbourne (2010); Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall, Stockholm (1998); Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (1997) and Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (1997).
Her work is held in private and public collections including Museu Coleção Berardo, Lisbon; Magasin III Museum for Contemporary Art, Stockholm; The Walsall Museum and Art Gallery, Walsall; Tokushima Modern Art Museum, Osaka; Collezione Marramotti, Reggio Emilia and the The National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne.
