In relation to the exhibition Too Much Skin, Taste & Turpentine at Magasin 3 in 2012, curator Richard Julin discusses painting, exhibition making, taste, and conformism with the artist Anton Henning. Henning’s work is often described as a Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art – where he mixes painting, sculpture, and video and assembles the works to a single spatial installation.
