How does art affect us? And what function does art serve in a public space? And what can the humanities do for economics?
As part of a collaborative project to bring new perspectives into the academic environment, the Stockholm School of Economics and Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall launched a program that presents film-based artworks in the school’s Atrium, in May 2013. Since then there has been a growing debate in the media about the relationship between the humanities and the business sector.
A panel of participants from the Stockholm School of Economics, Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall and the Stockholm art scene, address the role of art in society.
Panel: Kristina Möster, Project leader, Public Art Agency Sweden; Ann-Sofi Sidén, Artist and Professor, The Royal Institute of Arts, Stockholm; Lars Strannegård, Vice President and Professor, Stockholm School of Economics; Nina Øverli, Assistant Curator, Magasin 3, and curator of the film program at the School of Economics.
Moderator: David Neuman, Museum Director, Magasin 3 and Affiliated Professor, Stockholm University.
