The point of departure for Johan Grimonprez’ lecture is his work YouTube-o-theque, which is shown at Magasin 3 in connection with the artist’s exhibition in 2009 – a collection of video clips taken from the Internet’s endless flow of information which illustrate his interest in how media influences our perception of reality. From this perspective, Grimonprez also discusses the making of his recent film Double Take.
