Artist Book Launch – May Sahar

Magazine III Jaffa Books Hosts May Sahar for the Launch of Her New Book Dreams of Yesterday.

The book was independently created as a catalog of dreams from the period of the Israel-Hamas war (2023), blending texts sent to May by Instagram followers with her own illustrations. It offers a complex perspective that intertwines humor, fear, honesty, and pain. With sensitivity and delicacy, it reveals the subconscious of young Israelis, who are struggling with profound issues in a challenging daily reality.

For the launch event, dreams from the book were read aloud, and various products featuring May’s unique graphics were available for purchase.
