Magasin III Jaffa Books\u00a0series of meetings with artists will host the artist Shai Zakai with her book \u2018Forest Tunes – The Library 1995-2011\u2019.
It took 17 years of research, writing, photographing, and then the development of a pioneering process for green printing, to create the book. The book includes the process of collecting, compilating, sorting, and cataloging of leaves from 19 countries, and connects the meditative, poetic writing with the botanical, scientific writing, as well as documentary writing that refers (seemingly) to the concrete, such as the location of the leaves and points on the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
